How to read the replay

Map and timeline

The map shows driver positions at the selected moment. Play, pause or scrub through the session; playback speed changes how quickly you watch the recording.

Speed, throttle and brake

Speed describes the car’s motion; throttle and brake describe its inputs. A public F1 brake signal may indicate on/off activity rather than pedal pressure. Do not read it as a precise braking-force measurement.

Gaps and context

A gap is a time difference between cars. Traffic, tyres, pit stops and race conditions affect comparisons. These are Formula 1 observations; the race predictor’s probabilities are separate model estimates.
